Demonstrated reliability

SloMo is built like a tank. We love it that way. Its heavy-duty chassis built by MAN in Germany to military specs will certainly outlast all of us. It has clocked over 264,000 km around the world and is only getting started. Of course it helps that SloMo has been professionally serviced at regular intervals by the MAN service network, which are by the way amazing at sourcing genuine parts wherever you are.

This amazing M.A.N. chassis is built to outlast human civilization

7 times around the planet

Here is a map of SloMo's tribulations over the past 3 families it carried. Bar Australia and Antarctica, SloMo has roamed every continent extensively, from the high Andes to the lowest point in Death Valley and everywhere in between. In between continents, it was  shipped on  RoRo (roll-on, roll-off) ships, and its secure storage and cell means it travels securely that way too. SloMo was previously known as Angaleo, a cinema for children around the world.

SloMo has travelled all around the world, keeping its families safe and sound. This is the equivalent of almost 7 times around the planet if you followed a straight line around the equator!

A few postcards from the road

We have so many life memories of the many places we have visited with SloMo. Each experience was unique, because in each location, we had our entire home with us, and we could (and did) enjoy a nice meal and a hot shower even in the middle of the most remote desert!

Here are a few glimpses of some of the places SloMo has explored...

The so called "Devil's golf course" in Death Valley, CA

Looking small among the redwoods and sequoias of Northern California

Crossing the High Atlas mountain range in Morocco

New Year's eve in the Mojave desert on the California / Nevada border

A pit-stop in a North African oasis

Establishing camp in the Sahara desert

Exploring the Swiss Alps

Getting ready to set up camp in a lush European valley
SloMo Captain

Born in Africa, raised in Europe, living in California with his family, the captain keeps his hands on the wheels and eyes on the road as SloMo climbs mountain passes and crosses sand dunes, while his crew takes in the views.
