Part home-on-wheels, part pirate-ship, it has a soul as big as its engine. It was engineered in Germany to survive a level 5 zombie apocalypse and driven to more countries than most diplomats visit in their lifetime. Packing a full-blown cinema in its bowels, it has delighted kids of all ages the world over. We feel safe and protected in this marvel of engineering, and know that it is so durable, it will probably outlast all of us, to the joy of its next owners. Above all, it takes us away from the beaten path in glorious slow motion, because as the saying goes "the journey truly is the destination".
